Welcome to Window Valances Online! My name is Jan and I love everything to do with interior design especially when the focus is on making a house a home rather than a museum piece.

Window treatments are so important in completing the design for any room and window valances are some of the best ways of making a focal point of your windows so I wanted to make a site about them to draw attention to these unsung heroes.

I also wanted to make sure that you were not one of those keen decorators who choose a valance which is completely wrong for the decor or for the windows. The right valance is fantastic, the wrong one is plain ugly no matter how beautiful it might look on the right window.

This site aims to provide easy guides to help you choose window valances and get it right every time.
